About
I’m a campus pastor at Eastern Washington University. A jack of all trades. Current interests include, postmodern communication, rhetoric, and storytelling. I used to work on my car too much, then I got a reliable one. My time and mind are now free to roam. I’ll read or watch anything stimulating. Also concerned with politics (although I know not much about any of it). I’d like to study more about evangelism in different periods of thought. What worked, what didn’t. Hopefully with the historical knowledge of the past and an understanding of the present we could figure out how to engage the culture around us. Somehow though I think I already know the answer.
I’m married to my wonderful wife, we have 0 kids with no intentions of kids in the near future, not even the 0.5. She’s a teacher. Something I thought I would never be but continually keep running into. I enjoy it. I could never do what she does though with the little ones. She’s got a gift there.
My undergraduate degree is a BS in Biochemistry. Useless I say. It did teach me to think critically. Not much good in the day to day. Hopefully the critical thinking can be applied to larger fields of thought. Perhaps like Pinky and the Brain, it’ll be applied “to take over the world.”

“ydwoh & ahola nivek & yesac!” [in Bob's lang.]
or simply, “Howdy and Aloha Kevin & Casey!”
I am an Alumnus of Chi Alpha (‘07) and currently living in western WA as a substitute elementary teacher. Just wanted to say “ydwoh” and that I am praying for both of you -for your finances and that you will be a blessing to the students of EWU. I know that God is using both of you to make a huge impact on the lives of students. I know that God has called me to do the same as a teacher.
God bless, Mary
